Looking at her now, Viv already has such a strong personality. She is either happy or she's NOT. She's in a good mood or she's NOT. She is funny and delightful or she's NOT. And well, you get the idea....
Is this just a phase she is going through? (Gosh I hope so!) Will she relax and become less uptight as she grows? (Fingers crossed!) Only time will tell I guess.
I feel so happy that Vivian does seem to have a sense of humor, even at this very young age. She often cracks herself up -- picking up a towel and walking around with it on her head; laughing at her own reflection in the mirror; shimmying her shoulders when I say the word dance; giggling when we make sounds or noises that are unfamiliar to her; tickling her; watching the dog run around; and so and so on.
Her sense of humor helps me get through the days when she is having some "not so precious" moments. I hope her comedic streak proves useful as she ages and goes through rough times in her life. My sense of humor has always pulled me out of the dark moments. I really enjoy making others laugh and smile. And I think Viv will be that way too.
But for now, when I am not remembering to enjoy the current moment, I will keep dreaming of what she will be....
COMEDIAN?

MCDONALD'S WORKER?

MUSICIAN?

PERFORMER/ENTERTAINER?

DANCER/ STRIPPER? YIKES! LOL

LIBRARIAN OR WRITER?

DEEP DOWN, WHAT I REALLY WANT HER TO BE IS MY FRIEND, HOPEFULLY MY BEST FRIEND:

I know I am her parent first but I hope that someday we will be the best of friends -- laughing, talking and sharing secrets kind of friends.
