Jumping on the Blog Bandwagon

I'm becoming kind of a blog-aholic lately. I have recently discovered a bunch of really great, really funny sites out there. Some of these great authors are even posting comments on my page. And I'm truly honored!

Just this morning, someone posted on my facebook page asking me how I have time to write a blog. I haven't responded to her yet (I made a vow to stay off of facebook for a week; so yeah, why am I reading comments on my page then? Addicted I guess!) Anyway my first thought was... well, writing is like free therapy for me. Instead of paying a therapist to hear my problems, complaints and how I stepped in dog poop last night.... I just write about it here for anyone to read OR for everyone to ignore.

Now any little random thought or idea comes into my head, and I sit down to write about it. I have ten unfinished drafts sitting here right now just waiting to be completed. My husband Kirk will say something comical. Or some weird, funny moment will happen between us and he'll comment with slight sarcasm, "Why don't you go blog about that?!" Umm, maybe I will! (snaps fingers!)

But enough about me today, I'm joining this thing called "Blog Hop" to see where it leads me. After all, I don't hop, skip or jump around enough these days anyway. I need some exercise. So now is a good time to start!

But isn't it a great feeling to meet someone (even if it's only in the virtual world) who totally gets you? Making connections with people feels pretty darn great.

So jump aboard the bandwagon with me. I promise to make you laugh along the way. Or if you have no sense of humor, I will push you off the wagon and yell "Yee-haw!"
