Goonies and Ya-Ya's

My goonies and my ya-ya's
That's what I call my friends
They understand who I am
They love me to no end.

These wonderful people
Enrich my life
Make me a better
Person, friend, wife.

They give without taking
They laugh and they share
I owe them my sanity
And some of my gray hairs.

Oh how I adore these folks
They teach me their wise ways
They listen without judging
Life before them was empty days.

I'd buy you all a box of chocolates
Some wine, and a pack of gum too
For as long as you stick by me,
I'll go to ends of the earth for you.
