I Lost My Wit Today

I lost my sense of wit today
I don't know where it went
Packed its bags for France perhaps?
Skipped out on last month's rent

No clever remarks come to mind
No charming words to share
I've become a lifeless imbecile
This really isn't fair

Who am I without my humor?
Just a common face and name
A person attempting bad jokes
Someone who can't play the game

I feel so lost without you, my wit
Where did you go? I will follow
I'll spend today feeling ordinary
Please come back to me tomorrow.

Looks like you still have your wit to me, along with a good sense of humor. Love this poem! :)

Your wit is evident here! Well done, Mandy!

Nice hiding place, wit! Mandy misses you, but we know you're just hiding, since she found you already, but doesn't know it!
