Dear Readers of Mommy's Blog,
(There's only about five of you, right?)
I'm taking over my mama's blog so I can talk about - what else - but Me! Mommy's been talking about enough made up stuff lately anyway. She's been talking to all of you too much, in my opinion. And my opinion does count, even though I'm not even two years old yet. My birthday is October 29. Be sure to mark your calendars.
I purposely gave my mom dirty looks and whined nearly every time she would go near her computer this weekend. I wanted her to play with with me and to pay lots of attention to me. It mostly worked. I can really turn on the charm, when I want to.
Mommy and me (oh, and daddy too) had a wonderful time just being silly. We set up a slumber party on the living room floor with blankets and pillows. Mommy rolled around, covered her face with pillows and covered my face with a blanket. It was the funniest thing ever. I found this so amusing for some reason. Even the dog tried to get it on the fun.
We read so many books this weekend. I love books. My favorite time of the day is when mom reads me stories.
I understand what up and down mean. I can even say the words "up" and "down". I point up then down as I say it real loudly so my mommy will do her dramatic effects of standing up tall or crouching down low. I like to do it over and over again. After all, when you learn a new skill, you should show it off as much as possible.
On Saturday (I think it was Saturday, I don't know my days of the week yet), my family went out to eat at a burger joint. It wasn't the one with the good stuff for kids though. It was an adult one that served peanuts. My mommy may have regretted that since I tried to eat a whole peanut with its shell on. She hurried up and took it from my mouth though. What's the big deal? I was fine. I could be real loud in that restaurant though since it was noisy. I ate raisins while mom and dad scarfed down burgers and shared fries. I don't like to share.
After dinner, we went to some animal store. My parents let we walk around all by myself! (What were they thinking???) There were birds in cages at this place. They had furry things that my mom called hamsters and guinea pigs. I also saw tanks and tanks full of different fish. I like to call them fishes and sing the fishes song that Elmo sings. I also liked to touch all the doggie toys and balls in the aisles. I don't know how my mom and dad walked out the store without buying something for me or our pets there. I was not happy when we left there. It was too fun of a place. Mommy had to drag me out kicking and screaming. She's too strong for me, at least for right now.
What else? Oh, I climbed up a slide this weekend, just a small one in my house. But I was brave enough to climb it and then slide down. Maybe mom should take me to a Pump It Up party after all. I sat on the bean bag chair a lot too. I'm not afraid of it anymore.
On Sunday (again, what is it with these days of the week? What's the point? Wake up. Eat. Sleep. Play. What else matters?) - anyway, on Sunday, I said the word "cheese" for the first time. I didn't think it was a huge deal but mom and dad lit up like a Christmas tree as I said it over and over again. I guess they like it when I say new things. I said it over breakfast when my mommy was reading me a book about food and it had the picture and word "cheese" in it. Maybe I'll say a few words a week from here on out. I bet my parents will do anything I ask them to if I do that.
I went grocery shopping at that Wallyworld place as mommy calls it. She got me some size 3T shirts. I heard mommy say she's glad I'm in 3T since Wallyworld and that other Tar-zshay place never carries 2T sizes for me. Mommy does have good taste in picking out clothes for me - neon pinks, oranges and greens so everyone will notice me. I held some of the groceries in my lap, like the salad and fruits in the cart. I didn't like it when it was time to check-out and let those items go in the plastic bags.
I heard mommy tell daddy that the new sippy cups she purchased for me are spill-proof. Ha! We'll see about that! I don't know why she got me new cups. I had just gotten comfortable chewing off the spouts and lids of my old cups. Oh well. I'm sure I'll think of a way to ruin these too.
Oh, I also danced around a lot this weekend. I do this little thing with my feet that my mom calls my "happy dance" where I almost jog in place and move my arms up and down real fast. I danced a lot to the Wiggles, to Elmo and to the radio this weekend. I like for my mom to hold my hands while we dance together (this is the only time I like her to hold them though). My mom makes dancing so much funner than when I do it by myself. No one should have to dance alone.
We blew bubbles outside this weekend too but not for too long because it was friggin hot. Oops, I mean just really hot. Mommy says that word, "friggin" a lot. I think she means some other word but I'm not sure. Like I said, I'm not even two yet.
I pooped three times on Saturday. I forgot to mention that. Yes, three times! Two solids and one loose one. My mom and dad were amazed. What did they expect though? They gave me watermelon, applesauce, bananas, raisins, corn dogs, milk, juice, potato chips and more. I didn't want to explode. Well actually it did kind of explode that last time. Heeheeheehee (I'm giggling).
Well, I should get off the laptop. Mommy is giving me dirty looks at this moment because she wants me to play with her. (Now she knows how it feels!)
Although I can see how this thing can be addicting. Do you all really listen to what she says? Let's test it out, shall we? -- I command you to send me cookies and stuffed animals. Yes, send all treats to my attention - Vivian Rose. I prefer chocolate candy. My favorite colors are pink and purple. Thanks.
I'm outta here. Be nice to my mommy. She works hard at putting up with me. She's okay ya know. I think I'll keep her.
Love,
Me - Vivian
(or Viva the Diva as my mom likes to call me. I have no idea why she calls me that!)
P.S. - oh yeah, one more thing - check out these pictures of me below. My mommy took these while we were playing. I'm so cute, aren't I? Yeah, I know I am. There's no denying my beauty.

Vivian, learning about cheese and how to say it is a very good thing! You should mention to your mom something called feta cheese and then gorgonzola cheese. It's a hard word, but worth it in the end.
Come back and say hello again!
Miss Vivi,
Lila and Miss Jesi adore you and your mommy. And you are right, she is a really awesome person. I can't believe that you are wearing 3T! But that is good 'cause Mommy is right- they NEVER have 2T. I can't wait to see you bust a move at bowling night!
Hugs and Kisses!!
How cute!! That cracked me up! Viva the Diva - you and your Mommy are funny girls!
Does she wear a 3T?
My Carson poops almost 2-3 times a day. It's like never-ending! It never fails, that diaper he slept in all night will weigh 10lbs, and as soon as he gets changed - he poops.
