That song came to my mind as I am happy to have the chance to finally pass on some blog love. Yes, I am now ready to give out the wonderful awards that have been bestowed upon me. (I mean how often can you pass out awards that don't cost anything and don't require you to get all dressed up?)

Plus, since I still can't officially reveal my secret, I have to do something else to show my affections. Believe me, it's driving me CRAZY not to tell the news but I still can't do it, not yet. But soon, very soon I promoise....

Anyway, it has taken me awhile to determine who I wanted to give them to but I assumed this responsibility with great care. Many people who I read daily already have a half-dozen of these awards (and they rightfully deserve them). And I read my closest friends' blogs who are great but should I select them just because they are my friends? No, probably not.

In the end, I wanted to find fellow bloggers like myself who are somewhat new at this, or who might need some encouragement, or who may not have a large following or who may not fully see themselves as insightful, witty people. But they are! They are fabulous!

And here are my picks for ALL FOUR awards that have been given to me. That's right, you not only receive ONE award, but FOUR honors. That's how much I love you. (If you decide to purchase a virtual restraining order against me, so be it!)


1. Brunette on a Budget - Okay, so Crystal is not a novice at this but to my knowledge, she hasn't received any of these awards and she deserves them, believe me! She's funny, resourceful, a world traveler, frugal and stylish. Did I mention that she's a writer? I want to be her. Go meet her and find out why.

2. Antsy Pants - Cathy was the first person to admit that she stalked my blog for a week before leaving a comment. You gotta love that honesty! Her posts are funny. She can really look at herself and admit when she doesn't know the answers. I admire that so much. She doesn't have things figured out, much like me. So we weirdos have to stick together! I'm so glad you found me Cathy! I hope others will find you soon too.

3. Tea and Crumpets - I so enjoy Lexiloo's observations about life. From her posts on toothpaste to how she hates bridal registries, she's kind of a rebel. And I dig that. Plus, she's a clever gal. You should visit her site.

4. The Child - Kim is so honest and funny. She posted what she deemed as the most unflattering pictures of herself. She is candid about how hard motherhood is and relationships can be. I crack up reading some of her posts. You will too.

5. Pop Rocks for Breakfast - Christie is the sister I never had. A kind friend who you feel better just being around. She is using the month of September to find an extraordinary thing/moment in her ordinary life. Her words are inspiring. Her random thoughts on family, pets and life warm my heart. I know they will warm yours too.

6. Razorblade Brain - First, let me say - VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED when reading this blog. Second, let me say she is my friend. I know her in real life and yes, she really is that crazy! But she's fun to read and her observations are interesting, wacky and downright hilarious. If you can take her VERY candid honesty, you are sure to see why she's amazing, why I'm friends with her and why you should read her blog.

7. Cougar Tales - I just stumbled upon her blog and she's only beginning. But I like her. She's truthful, introspective and fun to read. Plus, I'm jealous that she lives near the Big Apple and probably has a fascinating life that I only dream about. She's working toward adding some goals into her daily routine and I admire that. Go check her out.

And those are my picks. Perhaps I was supposed to pick ten or fifteen but I'm happy with seven for right now. I never follow the rules completely anyway. But I purposely tried to find people who haven't received any awards or perhaps they only had one. And I chose folks who make me light up a little when I see that they've posted something new.

So enjoy your trophies ladies! Do what you want with them. Pass them along or keep them to yourself. It does not matter to me. So long as you know that your posts rock my world.

I think I am supposed to post ten random things about myself that no one knows. Not long ago, I posted 25 random things about me so you can read that if you're so inclined. Makes no difference to me. Award winners, you can do this or not. I'm not your mama, so they'll be no hand-slappin' from me if you don't.
