Finally, I can say....
We're moving to Florida
Packing begins today!
In just over a month
I’ll be in the sunshine state,
Within close range to the beach
Cocktails and seafood - don’t hate!
Husband was offered a new job
Pensacola will soon be our home.
Me? A full-time mom for awhile
Then back to school, and future unknown.
No bun in the oven, sorry!
I'm not quite ready for that
Someday I'll try for a second child.
For now, I'll take sunscreen and a hat!
I’m excited, nervous and thrilled
For this new chapter to unfold,
Anticipate adventures on the horizon
And fresh stories to be told
Wish us luck as we move (again)
And embark on this journey together
I can’t wait to share more with you
Maybe this address will be forever....

=====================================================
Note: I never meant to drag out this secret for nearly a week but my husband and I had to wait until we received his "official orders", which is similar to military orders (even though he is civilian). I had to keep my mouth shut until we had that final word.

Congrats! That is a fantastic part of Florida to live in! In fact, that is where we want to retire...one day!
Great, exciting news! Definitely worth the wait! Now the hard part begins -- all the packing. Wish I could come help!

My computer has been broken for almost a week and I was so worried I was missing out on the secret!
Congrats to your hubby on the new job!
This is going to be such an exciting adventure! I can't wait to read all about it.
p.s. The poem was super cute :)
I love the poem for your "news"!
Congrats to you! We almost moved to Florida when I was a kid. Instead we moved from NY to the suburbs of Denver where my immediate family still lives (awesome place to live, btw!). I'm sure you'll love it down south! Your only problem should be trying to keep cool in the summer, and that's a great problem to have.;-)
Bittersweet! I'm excited for you! I know you are happy to get away from your job and be able to be at home with Vivian again, but I will truly miss you and our lunches!

How exciting! I know you'll love it there. My brother and his family live in Tampa and really enjoy being Floridians! Wait until you see the beaches. Congrats!!!
Wow! Congrats to your hubby on the new job, and I'm glad that you'll be able to stay home with Vivian! Hubby and I agnoized over my decision to quit my full-time job and go part-time somewhere else so that I could stay home with the boys, but all of the financial sacrifices were worth it 100%. Good luck to you and the family!
i hope it is your forever home. florida is really nice. we're going in oct to see the mouse!
Oh how exciting!!! I love Florida!
And here I was jealous that you TOO were pregnant just like everyone else I know:) I'm thrilled for you and your little family. Can't wait to hear more.
Congrets to the hubster on yhe new job! Good juck with the move.
Oh, how wonderful! Pensacola is one of my faves. And maybe a little closer to home, too? Congrats and good luck with moving!
Yay, now I can PUBLICLY say...CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You deserve all the fun that's sure to come your way in the sunshine state!
Wow! I didn't even guess this one! I am happy for you. It feels good to have a fresh start...something to look forward to...the unknown...you can start over or even recreate any part of yourself or your life that you want. This is like your own private New Year's and you will make your own New Year's resolutions....except the success rate of resolutions is not great so make them REVELATIONS!
