I Love These Girls!

I am working on a post about what it's like being a mom the second time around.  However, in the mean time, I just wanted to share a few photos of my two girls and some of the conversations I've been having with my four year old too.  Time is truly precious these days and I want to remember it....

Funny stuff:

Vivian is obsessed with seeing baby Lana's diaper.  She wants to know if it's poop or pee pee.  She actually becomes upset if she doesn't get a chance to personally inspect it.  Strange, strange kid of mine! 

No matter what Lana is doing or what I say about her, Vivian will relate it back to herself and say, "I did that when I was a little baby...." Or "when I was a little baby I was ____ just like Lana."  She is proving that she is still the diva in the house and it's all about her!  :-)

Vivian finds it hysterical when I move Lana's limbs around or make her jump up and down to music.  We actually saw Lana's first smile while goofing off to Billy Idol's "Mony, Mony" song.

When I read books to the girls and I pause for a minute, Vivian will say, "Mommy, why are you reading to your brain?" (meaning why am I reading to myself)  She wants me to read aloud only.  Hahaha!

Precious stuff:
Vivian will talk to Lana and lay down next to her during tummy time.  It's so sweet!

When Lana is crying, Vivian will be concerned and want to go check on her.... my little mother hen.

Vivian will ask to hug and kiss Lana several times a day, all on her own without even me prompting her. 

Last night when we put Vivian to bed, I was holding Lana and Vivian turned to her, then to me and said, "I Love Lana so much!"  Talk about melt my heart and bring a tear to my eyes.



Oh my gosh do I love these girls of mine!!!
