My boyfriend still talks about going out with friends for his 40th birthday to this fancy restaurant. His friend knew the chef. Before the meal, the chef came out and said he was making a special appetizer...it involved small grilled cheese sandwiches and a special sauce. He thought it was odd for a fancy restaurant to serve something like that but when the waiter brought it out, he said it was the most incredible thing he'd ever had.

Sounds delish! I saved some gourmet grill cheese recipes from a mag and how ironic I made one yesterday. Yesterday's was provolone, pepperoni, olives, roasted peppers and sauce. I cooked in a pan and pressed it down with another pan after brushing olive oil on the outside. Yummo!

I've been laughing since yesterday about the Schweddy Balls, that is still my fav SNL scene.

My fave Alec Balwin role???? The mean lion in Madagascar 2! They even make the lion look like him- I love it!! And "Shrek the Halls" was cute, although not as satisfying as the original.

I'm thankful for hot baths with an amazing book, being able to watch Christmas shows in my PJ's and cherry-flavoured candy canes!!!!

I have not had a grilled cheese sandwich in years. My mouth was watering just looking at the picture! I might have to stop at the store today and pick up some cheese....

I love Shrek. It is such a good feel good movie. Makes me laugh every time.
